If the script fails, you can do it manually. >WP Hi William, after your earlier posts about this ´Infinite analysis bug´ I´ve also made some test, but I had never any automatic stop by ´itself´ (i.e. without any action of myself). BUT: I´ve found out that this occurs, if you choose ´Help > About ...´ during the analyse - then the engine doesn´t calculate any more, or at least the GUI doesn´t display any longer engine informations. AND: This behaviour is not restricted to the Shredder engine, but does happen also with other engines - so it´s really a GUI problem. Since it´s not clear, if not any other ´GUI-actions´ would have the same (erroneous) behaviour, it would surely be better to NOT DO ANYTHING with the GUI during an infinite analysis!
