Such censorship belongs in earlier forms of society.  (It would also put a
strain on the moderators.  No doubt an appeals mechanism would be needed too.).

Post can be removed after the event and the poster punished (by being banned)
when necessary - or the community simply ignoring the poster.

Other forums I have seen have themed headings for posts, which would be nice in
my opinion.  For example:
About chess programming.
About chess programs.
Tournaments.
Puzzles (What does your computer think of this.).
Fan-boy posts.
(Almost) nothing to do with chess (programming) at all.
Trolls.
And so on.
