Thanks Paul, thats a big help. The CB manual is not very helpfull on this point. CB7 is great, my only dount is whether the opening tree is a good thing, it only reports the statistics of the current data base and may be a deterent to creative opening play - but that is a subject of a another discussion! regards, Mike
