I am not sure about nine moves but I presume that it is so. I looked with my
program only 7 moves by brute force, and stopped on 8. There I found that
branching factor jumped and it could take few hours to see it over.

I do remember that when I wrote my mate solver and used many programs in that
time for verification, then I saw that few programs do differ in counting. It is
not even mistake in the program.
