Thanks for the replies Guys,

Dann, I need the format that Hiarcs732 (and I believe Fritz7) generate with
TBGEN.exe, for use in Chessbase products. I think they are Nalimov format, but
the Help file and Manual don't say - they just refer to them as Tablebases.

Peter, I specified Australia believing that would be much simpler and quicker,
not involving international cheques (checks). However, if I don't get any
assistance from within Australia I may well take you up on your offer.

Henrik, I realise they can be downloaded, but our connection 28kbs!! gives us a
max of 12meg/hour if we're lucky, & cuts out after 4 hrs. Many of the files are
bigger than 48meg, and anyway, I couldn't contemplate downloading 8gig.

I've been trying to generate them, but one file took 32hrs (pentium4, 2.4ghz,
1gig memory) and some PawnPawn files continually use the hard disk despite a
600meg cache, & promise to take Weeks to complete, completely tying up the
computer in the meantime.

I was hoping to come across an Aussie who had fast-downloaded them & was willing
to copy them for me. A yellow banknote + providing the CD's is a quite
reasonable reimbursment. I know there must be Aussies out there, & maybe they
just haven't seen my plea yet.

Cheers Guys,
