If 64 bit at 4.0 Ghz will be twice as fast as 32 bit at 3.0 Ghz, AND the
Shredder 8.0 is recognizably stronger than 7.04 (as is clearly leaked from time
to time), then why would it not be about 80 elo better than the best at the
momment? Hence, a new computerchess sphere, at the beginning of it. Because I
feel that a new era is already beginning as it is, from many scources. So next
year might see the beginning of the end reigning in.
I'm sure the best of the new top program on best singal PC will be stronger than
the latest deeper blue, without any doubts at all.
I hope all this dreaming will be true!!!

Or, this will now be the second to last era, stsrting next year.
2004 should begin the true GM quality era. (not just GM RESULTS)

Final era should be Planet Shirov level into which no GM can step foot, and any
win ever by ANY GM will be a blue moon! (and need to find out what odd thing
went wrong with the computer!)
