I think you best bet is to send the CD back to Chessbase - explain the situation and tell them you got the wrong version -- since it's useless to you anyway - what do you have to lose? another option is just to buy a a different engine -- most of the media disks are very similiar if not the same -- also with the Kasparov/Fritz match coming - you know they will have a new Fritz version right after the match...
