Go up one level in this thread

I just recieved 3 fantasting programs from Chess Assistant, in the mail from
ICD;
1. Encyclopedia of Middlegames

2. Studies 2.0

3. Strategy

# 1 & 3 (particularly #1), offer thematic study of opening variations, using
test, Study material & playing of typical positions agianst the playing engine
Dragon. Think of Chess Mentor, but aimed at candidate masters in the soviet
union style.

The language in the program seems a little stilted compared to Chess Mentor, but
the material presented & the level at which the pupil is expected to grasp it is
on a higher plane. Anyway, I'm having a great deal of fun with this program,
and here is a couple of links for further info:

one of the best sites (other than here), to get a view of chess software before
buying it.
