   Hello Francesco!
even with choosing GM games ,you can't absolutely avoid refuted lines :
examples are many; to see some of them you could visit the website
   criticalchess@yahoogroups.com
to quote just one you can ask your favourite DB:
   you will find 1 e4 e5 2 Nf3 Nc6 3 Bc4 Nf6 4 Ng5 d5 5 exd Nxd5?
well more than 3 times ( about 100 to 400 , following the DB )
Now , some of the best engines can't find the refutation so it's not
useless to make this line played in a match between engines
it's not very wise to rely on the opening book to make win your favourite
engine , chiefly when it leads to favour the most colourless variations
As for me ,I never make the engines play with their own book but with lines
specially prepared to give rise to hot combination play
   Friendly yours
        Claude Le Page
