I have tried nemesis now. I have to confess it's good.
I do feel more intuitively comfortable with partner. particularly as it can be
used on so many different free servers and can autosave and log all my varied
games to the same pgn file for later analysis. i also feel more comfortable with
its look-- too much 3d nonsense in nemesis.
my beefs with partner... there is no seek diagram available ( i don't mind using
the 'sought' command but not try telling the kiddies to do that) also an
interesting packet loss problem with partner when I ping myself due to no move
from an opponent. the sysop reports to me that I have a 100 per cent packet loss
from 3 packets every damn time... go figure!
maybe i will try 'theif' i always wonder about my lag for bullit and I do not
favor premove to save time .. i want to play after all.
thanks for your response.--marc
