I am the author of the CSS-Rangliste. There are tested the strongest chess programs with clear defined conditions. I'm sure that Ktulu 4.0 could also take place in my list. At approximately every 10th game "Ktulu 4.0" makes no more move and loses the game for a limited time so. I already have tried out several attitudes, unfortunately without success. The problem always appears with the white pieces and during an early phase of the game (after 10-11 moves). Testconditions: Time control/Engine = 10 Min. + 10 Sec./move Games per opponents = 20 Book function = deactivated Pondering = deactivated Engine-Settings = default Opening Book = non Opening specifications = 10 SeE-opening positions (revised) Endgame databases = Nalimov - 3,4 and 5-pieces Test platform = Fritz 8-GUI Processor = Athlon TB 1200 Mhz Main memory = 512 MB Hashtables/Engine = 128 MB So that Ktulu doesn't play from the opening book, I have prepared an empty book file (book.bin = 0 KB) Who can help me?
