Indeed a very nice positions. It was discussed many times on CCC. The first
mention of it was (perhaps) by Bernhard Bauer in 1997:

I first "met" this pos by an email from Carlos Pesce. I regularily test it (just
as a sanity test - not to tune for it) when I try out new ideas in my engine.

I guess, for many "modern" engines on current hardware, it is rather easy to
solve.
