I more or less agree, but sometimes we shouldn't stand in the way of other good initiatives. Some choose to spend a lot of time developing good books and SMP support, they should be given a chance now and then to use this advantage or the incentive to develop it is gone. That would be even worse for computer chess, IMO. Most of all I guess the answer depends on what kind of machine you use yourself, if you don't have a dual you're bound to find dual progs silly :) -S. >Jason W.
