Seems a lot more >fun to me. > > > >Jason W. at the very least the programs which are able to use multiple processors should get this advantage. at the moment, multi-processor machines are practically non-existent for the average person. but: hyperthreading is here already today, so people with a new P4 can take advantage of the efforts of the programmer who implemented multiprocessor capability. besides, it looks like this is a going to be a trend for future single processors - IIRC AMD has announced that it's next 64-bit processor will feature two entire processor cores. cheers martin
