Here is analysis by Yace only material when bishop is evaluated as better than knight(I deleted learning between analysis) Bishop=3.5,kinght=3.4,pawn=0.8 You can see that after Qf3 Bg6 it is easy to see that white wins a pawn so it is possible that Rebel played 20...Nb6 because it did not see losing pair of bishops at that point and after 20...Nb6 it simply prefered to lose a pawn and not to lose the pair of bishops. It is also possible that Rebel evaluate the first position after winning a pawn wrong but when it searched slightly deeper it understood the problem.
