Jeroen, next time I won't rely on statistics too much. Thanks for the hint :-). I will try to rely on my own positional judgement and I won't "ask" Ruffian how he feels about the positions. How about this position: where is the pair of bishops, where is the space advantage you mentioned? How was it possible to arrive here from a feeble opening stage and an impromptu book: [D]6k1/r1p1R1p1/3q3p/1bNp4/3P1p2/1P4P1/4QPKP/8 w - - Have a beer, I am having one now :-).
