You've almost started complaining the Vincent way... :-) Here's a counter example: of Ruffian had played the normal prophylactic 21...f6, he would have won the game against XiniX (the estimate by Ruffian, Fritz and Shredder was all about +0.50 for Black = Ruffian) and he would have been clear first with 9.5/11. But Ruffian overlooked the threat posed by the Knight g5 move and was duly punished. Therefore, if we start by projecting a parallel universe in which there is no single reality, but always an alternative IF, we would never go far. Fact is that Ruffian lost, and, sorry to say, that Tiger lost. And we have to accept facts, regardless of how difficult it is. Otherwise, we would engage in "denial of reality" and that is, er..., not really advisable. You are a terrific book creator, that is another fact. If I tried to deny that, I would never catch up with you. Djordje
