Will, I scrutinised the position with Ruffian Leiden for a long time. Not only the one you chose but the previous critical position where Ruffian exchanges his black square bishop on e5, wishing to get rid of the white knight. Then I had a look at all the positions you listed. Ruffian seems to be blind-folded, simply does not realise the dangers in time. If assigned more time it spots Ng7, but not at G/90, rather at the classical tournament time controls. Seems an evaluation issue... Per-Ola will have food for thought. Djordje
