The main difference is stronger positional play, but after the XiniX game some
things will have to be improved. I will tell you how they fare tactically in
more detail tomorrow or on Tuesday, when testing on the WM test suite is done.
Remember we (Ruffian team) got this version on Oct. 10, and what mattered was
checking the opening lines, not epd suite testing. From a bit of epd tests I
tried it seems that the new Ruffian is tactically stronger... but we will see.

Regarding pawn storms: that is one of the things that Perola is still working
on.

Just how strong Ruffian can be at one minute per game here's a game vs. the new
strong Crafty (may be the strongest version so far, 19.04):

I think that very few programs would play this kind of game at G/1.

Will give you more information soon.
