hi, i have been playing on ICC a bit with my engine, but i have had some problems: at first, i used arena, and there sometimes the following happens: when my engine is playing black, arena says "illegal move" on the second move of my engine, although the move was perfectly legal. it then goes on to lose on time of course. has anybody else seen this kind of problem with arena+ICC? next, i added winboard support to my engine and now i'm playing without problems under winboard. one annoying thing is that my engine gets kicked out of ICC after 60 minutes of idleness, which happens rather frequently. has anybody compiled himself a version of winboard which sends an arbitrary command to ICC (like "finger") every 50 minutes or so? or is there another solution to this? cheers martin
