Ok, understood :) I too just wanted to clarify that the rules are what defines the game, and if we feel that two draws are somehow worse than one win and a loss then this should be reflected in the rules - beforehand, not afterwards. In general I think it's best for computer chess to follow the FIDE rules as strictly as possible, in which case it's all out of our hands :) -S.
