I haven't been involved with your prior posts here, maybe over my head, or a different area of interest. However I can relate to your state of mind. Been there, done that. Yes, leaving if often the best option, then come back later if you want. Maybe use a pseudonym. Anonymity has its advantages. Yes, anyone who adopts a public position is certain to encounter a few fringe lunatics who will belittle your knowledge, efforts, and dedication. It is near a 100% probability. It happens in all areas of life, in all pursuits. To avoid it, again, using a pseudonym may assist. Some of our greatest people, writers, scientists, etc. have used pseudonyms for that reason. It's an acceptable practice. WP
