I guess for people who were seeing this side of Kasparov for the first time, it
can come as a bit of a shock that, outside of chess, he is only human.

During the Anand match in '95 I got a chance to sneak into the press room, and I
was also shocked at some of the things Kasparov said and the way he said them.
Not because they were any worse by a longshot than the types of things we see in
here and rgc*, but because my expectations were higher.  By the time of the
final press conference after the 6th game with DB, his reaction was not
particularly shocking.
