Just to clarify: The book included with Rebel, DS and Tiger is the same? If they differ but the "base" of the book (maybe 90% of the book) would be the same and the rest are specific variations tailored to each engines style, would you still have a problem? What if a programmer writes two different engines. Would it be good/bad/acceptable if he/she would enter tournaments with both engines? (like Bob enters both with Crafty and CB?) I don't really know what to think about the issue. I can see potential problems with _myself_ if I wanted to enter a tournament with 2 engines of me, but I don't know whether you would dislike other people doing that. Sargon
