Subject: Problem installing Rebel10

Ed,

I bought the Rebel10 upgrade CD recently. When I am being asked to insert
my official Rebel9 CDrom to verify upgrade I get this message:

"Insert your official Rebel8, Rebel9 CDROM(or diskette)and type the drive
letter (A or B) when ready..."

OK, but that means having to take out REb10 CD and put REb9 CD and press "F"
(my cdrom drive letter since I have a big hard disk) and when I do that it
tells me it's not a valid upgrade. I was forced to use my Reb8 floppy and
it worked, but when we get to Rebel 11 they'll want us to prove upgrade from
Rebel9 onwards -:( and it won't work. Also, I installed it from Win and
tried DOS as well.

Does anyone know how I can get around this? I do not have 2 CD-Rom Drives
and Rebel9 is on Cd so that means I have to take Reb10 CD out and put Reb9
CD in, and then it checks for validity and then it says it's no good.
Ed, you did a FANTASTIC job, even though I still am pestering you about the
Rebel chess pieces which are getting old. I hope Rebel11 will be windows
and offer better chess sets. It's a shame for such a wicked program!!
