It depends upon how dumb, I think.  Humans can make a freakish mistake, but
computers can demonstrate that they have absolutely no understanding, and the
human thinks this extends throughout their play, and it may very well be
corrected on the next move.

I think their level of contempt is more extreme when playing computers, and less
likely to be accurate.

This is just based upon hearing people talk about computers as they are getting
beat after having had a winning position.
