You say you haven't seen it play and wouldn't comment .. etc. But you just did- You said: "No". As for FIDE allowing it, it was mostly a rhetorical question , ie. would MCP 8.1 gain the norms if allowed to do so. If you had just stated "my personal opinion is No", that would make more sense instead of the reasoning above. You haven't seen it play and yet commented on it's play. And even your first sentence said (paraphrase): you don't comment that which you don't understand. You gotta see it's play first :) Just pointing out the misleading parts. -Prakash Das
