Yes.  This is one of the reasons I dislike that the GUI takes care of
resigning in the UCI protocol.  I suppose this is done by observing
when the scores returned by the losing engine drops below a certain
threshold and stays there for a few moves.  This doesn't make much
sense when some engines consistently return bigger scores than others.
