Garry Kasparov is still better than any Computer. As I have heard so many times
he lost the matches against Deep blue, Deep blue did not win them.

You must have all seen the games and played over them, that is not the Garry I
know, and lets face it, it was not a huge loss, and I think in any rematch he
would once again beat it.

He went into the games with the wrong tactics and he paid for it, just like when
you going into a game against a human opponent with the wrong tactics and lose.

Plus until I can see a program that can run on a ordinary PC and beat the worlds
best in a series of games over normal tournament times and not just Blitz or
rapid type games, then I will not go out and hail Deep Blue or any other program
as the best in playing chess. It takes more than one small victory to take that
title of being the best.

IBM will never let Deep Blue have a re-match, they would not want to risk what
they say is the best chess player in the world to run the risk of losing. Like I
said it takes more than one series of matches and a narrow win to take that
title.

Lets face it Karpov is still FIDE No1, and well his play this year would put him
out of the top 10. Kasparov had a few off games, if he was on his mark then Deep
Blue would have got its backside whipped.
