Gian-Carlo you are exaggerating. The general.ctg is a good but not superb book.
It is relatively old. There are newer books which are superior. Every amateur in
the SSDF - List is using the general.ctg - book. I don't see how that qualifies
as a "totally unfair advantage".

Of course SSDF could have stick to their rigid position "if the company does'nt
provide us with the software like we want it we will not test it". But I'm happy
that they changed that.

Of course every engine should now be allowed to play under the CB-GUI with the
general.ctg with the best settings, which authorices the author. All consumers
would be happy to see Rebel and DeepSjeng on the list even with the general.ctg
and playing under the CB-GUI.
