so um, like what is wrong with all of the amazing programs which exist this year? We are in the golden age of chess programming friends. The fact that I won't individuate an answer lies in the fact that we are surrounded by Titans. If I need to chose a goal for an engine, that goal would be to play a comprehensible King's Indian Defense because it requires more plies of understanding to play positionally than it does brute force.
