Because it is our business, precisely. Not in the sense of "making money".
That's not the problem.
We (chess programmers) in majority view the SSDF list as a kind of
super-tournament, and actually the most reliable tournament ever played in the
whole universe.
So it's our business when the rules are changed to advantage one competitor.
Actually it's more our business than yours, but it's yours also if you are even
only remotely interested in computer chess.

So maybe after all it's definitely more our business than yours. Maybe YOU don't
care, but WE care.
