hello mr lei, are you behind a firewall when you access the internet, and if this is true, did you give cb8 permissions to access the internet? In my own use of cb8, I let cb8 access twice, the first time the connection usually fails while during the second time i get the new games. i always assume that during thee first trial, when the firewall software is garnting permissions to cb8, there is a server time-out because of the delay. and that is why it always works on the second half of the sequence. I also have similar problem using playchess gui in fritz, so the app tells me the server is down, but when i close the program and then reopen it I can connect instantly. good luck!
