From what I have read the beef seems to be that normally the SSDF tests an engine out of the box. Where it uses it's own book. As The King is not a ChessBase engine it should not be allowed to use their book. The simple thing to do would be to ask Mr.Koenig for a book that will work under the Chessbase interface, or a version that will allow such to happen. That's my two cents. Peter.
