The stupid book means that the program always change the first move and use no book. It may be interesting to know how much better is the kure book relative to the stupid book and it may be interesting if chessbase test one of the programs also with the stupid book(with exactly 40 games in every match). My guess is that the difference between the stupid book and the kure book is between 150 and 200 elo but it is only a guess. Maybe when my engine is going to be strong enough I will ask the ssdf to test it with the stupid book. I will decide in the future. Uri
