It is ridiculous to ban someone without notifying him/her and not mentioning the
reason of the ban when that is requested. I just spoke with Vincent and he
confirmed the story. Can one of the moderators also confirm this?

If it really happened as Vincent described then IMNSHO we need a new set of
moderators. I don't mind them banning people, I do mind them banning people for
no apparent reason at all or simply refusing to give one.
