It is unfortunate if we miss informing members promptly about the why, how and when of our actions. And it would be a quite natural rection to be annoyed and angry if that happens. It is even appropriate for being banned when the information is timely. It has never happened to me [banning] but I suspect I would harbour some negative feelings. And feel a bit cold turkey.
