Someone gave me this set. At first glance I thought it was a child's set but when I opened it up my first impression was that the container was made of wood and the pieces were made of semi-precious stone. The board looks like it's semi-precious stone with the inlay of the rows & files made of metal. I found the small sample of semi-precious stones on the bottom of the packing it came in.
