My clumsy engine needs countless minutes to find Rxc8, and in the meantime sticks to Rxd6 as well, and with a nice positive score. Actually, as you mentioned, white will win with Rxd6 anyway... At least no engine I've tried so far can beat mine (and mine always looses!). Rxc8 is a faster way of winning... but not the only one, IMHO. Regards, Jaime
