Marc,

Here is another instance from Playchess.com:

I play 100% manually (don't laugh) in the engine room as a declared program.
Because of manual play my engine is not listed in the player's window but I have
it all listed in my photograph profile. I use a legal CB program, Shredder.
The possibility of "cheating" was brought up to me because I could be a human
using a program as an undeclared "centaur" or whatever the individual was
concerned about. When I suggested that they look at my record (lost almost
twice as many games as I have won) and my ELO (~ 2400 - 2450) I was told this
may not matter. I laughed and continued looking for a game to play. Personally
I do not need these suggestions on Playchess.com. It's not particulary a great
place to play because of all the sissy formulas many use (not all, there are
many great operators there). I find ICC a much better place to play and test my
settings and enjoy myself without these suggestions.

By the way, I copied your instructions for Playchess.com server games from your
reply below. I found it before it went to the next page. Thank you very much.
