rolf, of course you are right. Perhaps the direction of my remarks were not clear. I was not called a cheat. I was told that I have many 'dubious' games and I should 'watch out!' I stil do not know what to watch for, or any specific charge like which games, etc. My feeling is that If I do not report this to a larger community then we will all feel this only happens to scoffs and cheats. I am not angry about it; I seek a more open process of resolution. As to whether play chess server is free, or supported by extensive software purchases, I have probably bought more engines and used them more often and played more internet chess there and elsewhere since playchess has been around. (But there could be other reasons for that- Playchess arrived on the scene after Sept 2001, and I live in New York-- our patterns of Chess Consumption here have seriously changed and our greatest club-the Manhattan Chess Club-- is finished.) Best Regards to you and thanks as always for answering me-Marc . On November 04, 2003 at 07:18:07, Rolf Tueschen wrote: >The so-called Fritz server is for free as you know. At least for the moment.
