Dann Corbits game collection has almost 40000 ICC games. With something like Scid (or probably any other chess database) you should be able to filter them out (from the over 3 million games there altogether). I came to the number of 40000 by just doing "grep -w ICC dchuge.pgn | wc". dchuge.pgn is the pgn-file, into which I copied together all the a00.pgn to e99.pgn. The games can be found at ftp://cap.connx.com in the directories a-openinings, b-openings, ..., e-openings. IIRC, there are some readme files, which may help to understand how to uncompress the files. I have found no easy and convinient way, to download many games from ICC in a (semi)-automatic fashion. Perhaps you could ask an administrator. Dann's database also includes a few thousand FICS games. Regards, Dieter
