Why only a MINI-ics.

Somewhere on ftp.freechess.org there is the source code of an old version
of FICS available for download. Installing and running it is a piece of
cake, I did it for fun few years ago, just to check how FICS works internally.
I guess you would need a linux box, if you have an old PC lying around idle,
the requirements are very minimal.
