Reminds me of a meeting I was at once.  It was called the Bluenose panel, and
consisted of the heads of laboratories and top scientists from all over the
world.  Sandia, LLL, etc.

An argument arose over the decay rate of a certain radioactive product.

They held a *vote* on it (I was in the back room flipping slides for projection
onto a neoprene screen).  If that does not strike you as funny, then I have one
more comment:
"Indiana State Legislature & pi"
