It should be at the discretion of the disciplined individual as to whether they wish to make it known publicly that they have been disciplined or not. Some people would prefer others to know they have been disciplined, but others would prefer the opposite. This may be because they plan to appeal the decision, or simply because they would be embarassed. For example, there is nothing stopping person X from emailing you and saying he has been suspended if he wishes to. You are then free to post about it on CCC. However, I don't see how it is an improvement to deny person X their privacy in this regard. Dave
