Thanks Dieter.Your explanation made everything clear. I think storing only beta fail moves will do better at a greater depth, We will have so many of exact scores at those depths.So replacing a fail high move with a an exact score move becomes unwise.I am sticking to "store when fail high" idea. regards Daniel
