Joe, if you are so inclined. there are web stores which can sell you a replacement hard drive for your laptop which is a major multiple in size from what you have. A local tech would have to install and format it for you. If you do purchase a new drive over the web, be sure to buy an OEM version of a newer operating system (like windowsXPhome)at the same time because when you buy new hardware you can get the operating system at the OEM price, which is much lower than the store price because it is meant for new machines. I'ts a funny thing, Joe, but buying a laaptop hard drive and a new operating system together is probably cheaper than just buying a new operating system. I must say, though that I do not know enough about your old dell laptop to say if this is worth your time and money. Someone else has got to fill you in from here. -Marc On November 04, 2003 at 21:52:23, Joseph Merolle wrote: >On November 04, 2003 at 21:50:46, Joseph Merolle wrote: > >>On November 03, 2003 at 23:43:29, margolies, marc wrote: >> >>>goto microsoft.com visit the downloads section, search for media player and >>>select it.
