I may be wrong, but I thought that IBM was speaking about working with Kasparov for future chess projects and even supported a web page for him. After Kasparov accused IBM of being naughty, talk of any projects went the way of the web page. I do think IBM was ready to continue. If IBM were a true sportsman it would give Kasparov a rematch. But, like Bill Gates, IBM is not a sports entity. But if IBM was interested in the project it had begun, it should have continued. It really didn't prove what many people think it did prove. But it got the win and lots of publicity. LET THE FIGHT GO ON!
