Maybe it is because of evaluation.

If you have a big score for bishop at h3 when there is no pawn at g2
it may cause you to find it fast.

You need to calculate lines like
Nxg4 Nxg4 Qh4 h3 h5 Nh2 Bh3 and if you have no special extensions for them
you cannot see it in 6 plies.
