Or Chess 4.0, 1974, which also used them.  I'm not sure about your -33, but it
could be right.  IE I first saw Kaissa at the 1974 WCCC event.  That would be
about 29 years ago...  I don't know how far prior to that date they started.
in 1973 chess 3.x was not bitmaps however, for certain.
